Connect Your AI Assistant: Step By Step

It takes about a minute. You need a FindFetcher account (any plan) and an assistant that supports custom connectors. This is in beta, so the steps may change a little.

Your FindFetcher connector link

Choose your assistant

Developer tools

In Claude: Settings > Connectors

  1. 1Open Claude (web, desktop or mobile) and go to Settings > Connectors.
  2. 2Click Add custom connector. Name it FindFetcher and paste the connector link.
  3. 3Click Add, then Connect.
  4. 4A FindFetcher window opens. Log in and click Allow Access.

Works on every Claude plan. The free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans an admin adds it first.

Then just ask

  • “Watch for a Dyson V15 under $700 and tell me when it drops.”
  • “Find Taylor Swift tickets in Sydney under $250 each.”
  • “What has FindFetcher found for my running shoes fetch?”
  • “Lower the price limit on my TV fetch to $1,200.”
  • “Pause my coffee machine fetch until after Christmas.”

Matches still arrive by email, and your assistant can show them to you too.

Disconnecting

Go to Settings, then Connected AI assistants, and click Disconnect. Access stops straight away. Your fetches stay as they are. You can connect again any time.

If something goes wrong

It keeps asking me to log in
Log in to findfetcher.com.au in the same browser first, then connect again. Private windows can block the login.
It says my plan is full
Fetches your assistant creates use your normal slots. Pause or delete a fetch, or upgrade, then ask again.
It cannot switch a fetch to hourly
Hourly checks need a Pro plan with a free premium slot.
It can read my fetches but not create one
Some apps (ChatGPT on some plans) only allow read access to custom connectors so far. Create the fetch on FindFetcher, or try another app.
The connection stopped working
Disconnect FindFetcher in your assistant and add it again. If you disconnected it in FindFetcher Settings, you need to click Allow again.

Still stuck? Email joey@findfetcher.com.au and tell us which assistant you use.
