The Cyber Monday Smart Shopper Guide 2026
Why Monday is often the better day for considered buyers, which categories run the deepest genuine discounts, and how to set up your fetches in October so the deal comes to you.

What you're getting
- Why Cyber Monday is often the better day than Black Friday for considered buyers — and how the demand dynamics of each day work in your favour when you have a system.
- Category-by-category guide to which products genuinely discount in the November window and which categories run inflated reference prices you should ignore.
- How to set a calibrated target price using 90-day price history and eBay sold-listings data, so you can spot a genuine discount the moment it appears.
- The three things to do before 10 November: set your targets, start monitoring, and decide what you are not buying — so the actual sale days become a notification, not a project.
Why I built this
Most people treat Cyber Monday as Black Friday's afterthought. For considered buyers — the ones who know what they want and are waiting for the right price — it is often the better day. Demand is lower. Software and subscription discounts peak on Monday. And retailers who did not shift enough physical stock over the weekend sometimes deepen their discounts to clear it.
The problem is that most guides tell you when to look, not how to stop looking. I built FindFetcher because the watching part should not cost you your evenings. Set the fetch in October. Let it run through the whole sale window. Find out when the price is right.
This guide covers the setup you need before 10 November, how to read price history to calibrate your target, and how to let the system handle the rest.
